This is how the KWO Krill Specials boilies were created – Boilies pack

A true attraction bomb for catching lots of carp: that was the inspiration behind the development of the KWO Krill Specials boilie range . These carp boilies are so naturally attractive that flavoring is no longer necessary. Read all about the origins of the Krill Specials below!

Mark Hofman explains: " If there's one thing that's important in my fishing, it's confidence. I have to be 100% sure of my bait's catching power so I can focus on other things like locating the fish. When I'm blanked, I know it's definitely not my bait! With the Krill Specials, I wanted to create a boilie that naturally attracts so much fish that adding extra flavor is unnecessary. This new boilie is filled with a maximum dose of krill meal, krill hydrolyzate, PD fish meal, and (to tie in with our Squid boilie ) squid meal. Four high-quality meals that carp will naturally recognize as bait!"

The Krill boilies are packed with natural attractants!

Especially on busy waters, you can use Krill Specials. They can help you catch just that few extra fish. Besides boilies, the Krill range also includes pop-ups , liquid baits , and hard hookbaits in three sizes. The pop-ups have a soft, washed-out look, so you can entice even the most wary carp to bite. Attractiveness of Krill

As a carp angler, you can't ignore the appeal of krill. This tiny crustacean lives in the oceans surrounding the North and South Poles and is one of the most important food sources for many fish species. Krill is incredibly nutritious, flavorful, and packed with amino acids. In recent years, carp have proven to love it too, which is why we've harnessed all the power of krill in a high-quality Krill Special boilie!

You can't ignore the attractiveness of krill!

Maximum krill meal

Our starting point for the Krill Special was to develop a boilie that was naturally super attractive, maximally packed with various krill and fish products. A boilie that already has so much attraction that flavoring was unnecessary. A boilie that can be described by the slogan "Pure Natural." Not needing flavoring in a boilie is an advantage that shouldn't be underestimated these days on our heavily fished waters, and often the key to extra catches.

Feeding tip: give it a generous dose Krill Booster liquid and crushed boilies over your bait mix for extra attraction!

The most important element in this boilie is the high-quality krill meal we use. This meal is made from the meat of crayfish. Krill meal is naturally very lightweight and can even make a boilie float. Through various tests, we were finally able to determine the maximum amount of krill meal. The high krill meal content alone ensures that the boilie contains a high dose of proteins, amino acids, nucleotides, and essential fats.

After a long test period, the amount of krill meal was optimal!

PD fishmeal

In addition to krill meal, we've also enriched this boilie with PD Fishmeal. PD stands for pre-digested. This means the fish used for this fishmeal undergo a process where they are hydrolyzed by enzymes. This essentially cuts the protein from the fish flesh into small pieces. It's a complex process with complex terms, but what's important to know is that this process makes this type of fishmeal highly water-soluble. This means all the attraction from this fishmeal quickly leaches out of your boilie, creating a cloud of attractive amino acids on your swim. Furthermore, PD fishmeal is highly digestible and provides a maximum contribution to the carp's protein needs.

Squid meal

Finally, we've added some squid meal to this mix. This is partly to maintain a link with our KWO Squid Specials, but also because this squid meal is packed with vitamins, minerals, and proteins. By combining these three meals, we've created a super-attractive mix packed with amino acids and other natural attractants that will appeal to any carp.

The combination of fishmeal provides plenty of natural attraction!

Krill hydrolysate

To pump this boilie even more full of krill, we finally added a krill hydrolysate. Think of it as a beefed-up liquid version of krill meal, but with even more free amino acids. This liquid is packed with aminos and therefore dissolves very well in water, ensuring maximum attraction.

We also conducted several tests with this liquid krill to determine the correct amount. It's possible to add too many amino acids to a boilie, which can slow the carp's intake. Ultimately, it's all about a good balance of attractants that pique the carp's interest, so they'll happily eat and keep eating... until they encounter your rig ;-)

The Krill boilies are quickly recognised as bait and are therefore suitable for use for longer periods of time.
