Mark had been thinking about developing a spicy boilie for a while. Some of the most popular boilies in recent years have acquired their distinctive flavor and aroma through the use of herbs. The reason spicy boilies have such a good reputation is that carp sometimes become crazy about them and ignore almost everything else. So, it was high time to develop the ultimate spice boilie!
Basic
We started with a base of carbohydrate- and protein-rich products that are also rich in essential dietary fiber. The base mix creates a good, coarse texture, allowing the attractants to easily leak out of the boilie. Furthermore, thanks in part to the dietary fiber, the boilie is also easily digestible for carp, allowing them to extract the necessary energy and nutrients.
To enhance the hardness and toughness of the boilie, we've used egg compound. This allows you to leave the boilies on your hair overnight without worrying about small creatures nibbling on them, and supplementing with the casting tube is effortless. Moreover, egg compound is incredibly rich in protein with excellent nutritional value and contains essential oils and fats for carp. The high dose of egg compound in this boilie significantly boosts the protein content and provides additional nutritional value, which will certainly benefit the long-term effectiveness of this boilie.

Now we come to the "magic" of this boilie. To arrive at the perfect spice mix, we examined a wide range of popular boilies. We then researched what makes these boilies successful and combined this information into a single boilie: the Spice Special.
Spices are complex. Did you know that many common spices are usually made up of combinations of different herbs? For example, cinnamon is the main ingredient in speculaas spices. And if you look at curry, it can contain more than ten different spices. In our opinion, ingredients are often added to boilies without anyone really understanding which part of the ingredient is attractive to carp.
We dare say we have the exceptional expertise to perform this analysis correctly, thanks to decades of experience in the food industry. Once we deciphered the specific herbs used in these popular boilies, we delved deeper. What are the real triggers in these boilies, and how can we perfectly combine them in a single boilie?
The final spice mix we use remains the chef's secret, but the blend of specific herbs is unique. These aren't the standard spices found on the shelves of boilie factories or other boilie brands. After a very successful testing period, we're confident we've created another unique boilie for you!

In addition to these attractive flours and herbs, this boilie also contains a substantial amount of Salminol. This liquid is made from the remains of edible salmon. These are ground and then hydrolyzed. This creates a beautiful brown liquid packed with free amino acids that are easily detected by carp.
Besides Salminol, this Spice boilie also contains a generous amount of our proprietary Squid & Octopus flavor. We struggled to find a suitable flavor on the market, so we developed our own in collaboration with a laboratory. "Flavor" isn't quite the right term; it's a complex liquid that stimulates carp's appetite.
